ART MINEGive, Take & Create - sharing stuff to support creativity in Sydney, and limit waste. What is it?Art Mine is a place to share unwanted stuff with creative people who can put it to good use.  Art Mine aims to harness the opportunities technology provides to support creativity and sustainability.  It will enrich your city and reduce waste through generosity and participation.Who made it?Art Mine is an ongoing project of Lucy Barker’s. It was developed as part of her Masters in Digital Design to encourage sustainability. Lucy intends for it to grow and evolve to include sharing space (for exhibitions and studios) and knowledge, depending on how it is adopted by users.Who can use it?Anybody can donate material on Art Mine (both individuals and companies), however those who “mine it” are always people with a creative project. What can be shared?Anything that the donor considers may useful to a creative practice is accepted.  As long as it is legal and honestly presented in its photo and description it has potential! How much does it cost?Art Mine is free to use, it is free to join and to browse.  The only expense involved is the shipment of materials from the ‘Donor’ to the ‘Creator’.  If the Donor is a business they will pay the flat rate of the courier, however if the donor is an individual the Creator will pay the cost of shipment.  Alternatively materials may be collected in person from the donor for free if agreed.CODE OF CONDUCTArt Mine relies on the good will of its users.  To keep Art Mine a positive place here is a simple “how-to act” guide to follow when using it.  The rules here apply to both donors and creators using Art Mine;1.
