The ultimate bag!

Over the last couple of years I’ve been perfecting the design and process of making bags from the vintage chair webbing I saved from my installation “Sea Change” which showed at Sculpture By The Sea , 2011,Bondi. These bags are lightweight, super strong, self supporting, waterproof… they are the ultimate bags! Each one is made individually by me with all my care and attention to detail. They are no perfect though. All materials are vintage and / or upcycled except the seatbelt webbing used for the handles, which is new. I am not a seamstress so the stitching is sometimes a little too visible in places and not as straight as it could be, however they are perfectly functional and each one is an artwork in itself.
